About Us
A Cat Rescue Built on Second Chances
We started LoveLands because we couldn’t walk past a cat that needed help. Now we work with foster carers, local vets and supporters across Essex and Suffolk to take in cats who’ve been abandoned, surrendered or found as strays, and give them the care and time they need before they’re ready for a home of their own. Cat Adoption
Every cat we rehome across Essex and Suffolk has been vet checked, vaccinated and assessed for temperament, so you know exactly who you’re bringing home.
Rescue & Rehabilitation
From tiny orphaned kittens to elderly cats needing a quiet retirement, we take in cats that need specialist care and work with local vets to get them well.
Fostering
Can’t adopt but still want to help? Our foster carers give cats and kittens a safe place to recover and settle before they’re ready for adoption. We provide the support, you provide the sofa.
Volunteering
From helping at events to driving cats to vet appointments, there’s always a way to get involved that doesn’t mean fostering or adopting. If you’ve got a few hours spare, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Adoption fee is £180 with a £60 deposit required. This goes toward the vet care each cat receives before they’re rehomed rather than being kept as profit.
Typically this covers vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, neutering, and a full vet health check, plus a short period of free pet insurance to get you started.
It varies cat by cat. A straightforward match can be sorted within a couple of weeks, while a cat who needs more time to settle or has specific needs may take longer. We’d rather get the match right than rush it.
No. Some cats are used to outdoor access and do best with a garden or cat flap, but plenty of our cats are just as happy living indoors. We’ll talk through what each cat needs when you enquire.
Yes, as long as your landlord has given written permission for you to keep a pet. We’ll ask to see this as part of your application.
Yes, all of our adoptions include a home visit or a video call, just to make sure the cat you’ve chosen is a good fit for your home and routine. It’s a conversation, not an inspection.
Usually yes. We’ll ask about your current pets and, where needed, arrange a supervised introduction before the adoption goes ahead, to make sure everyone gets along.
